This past weekend, Lakeshore Recreation came alive with the sounds of pickleball as the Saugeen Shores Pickleball Club hosted the Taylored Pickleball Academy for a charity tournament benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Grey-Bruce. The event was a fantastic blend of fun, community spirit, and philanthropy.

A Fun-Filled Event

Players of all skill levels participated, creating a lively and supportive atmosphere. The event was filled with laughter, cheers, and a strong sense of camaraderie, making it a memorable experience for all involved. As said by Lakeshore Recreation owner Gord MacKay, "It was incredible to see everyone come together for such a great cause."

Raising Funds for a Worthy Cause

The tournament successfully raised funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Grey Bruce through a prize draw and raffle. These efforts, along with the generous contributions from attendees, ensured that valuable mentorship and support can continue to positively impact many young lives in our community.

The event highlighted the strength and generosity of our community. The enthusiasm and kindness of players, volunteers, and supporters were truly inspiring, demonstrating the powerful impact of coming together for a common cause.
