Lakeshore Recreation Squash Activities: Round Up


The past months have been action-packed for squash enthusiasts at Lakeshore Recreation. Here's a round up of what's happened over the past few months.


Events and Activities


Brantford Classic (April 12-14)


The Brantford Classic was a major highlight, drawing in top squash talent from across the region. Over three days, participants showcased their skills in intense matches that thrilled the audience.


Lakeshore members Sally and Johnny Ballard, Robert Lompart and yours truly participated in the Mixed D and Mix A draws respectively.



All players did well and proved that they have the moxy to play tournament play! Congrats. Johnny Ballard made it to the Mixed D semi-finals! Congrats Johnny!


Barbados Classic (May 21-26)

Lakeshore Recreation members Robert Lompart and Sheila Proteau played in the Barbados 2024 Masters Squash Tournament.

Summer Squash Instruction Series (SIS)

If you're looking to start playing squash or looking to improve your game and fitness level, SIS is for you. Open to all levels and for the summer available free of charge.



The goal of every session is for you to have some fun, get a good workout and learn something. Learn more and book a spot here.


House League

The Winter and Spring House Leagues brought together players of all levels to play scheduled matches on Wednesday nights. We're taking a break in the summer months. Congrats to the winners and looking forward to seeing you in September!
