Biography
Over the years, my love for food has shifted from being solely a deliciously indulgent experience to an appreciation for the power it has as the foundation of living an awesome life. I have always known that specific foods made me feel alive, while others made me feel sluggish and lacking energy.
The big shift happened when I brought two beautifully unique children into this world and realized how important it was for them to get the proper nutrition they need for healthy development. These culinary shifts completely transformed the way I felt, both mentally and physically, AND greatly influenced how my children behaved. I now know that complete wellness involves the type and quality of the foods we enjoy: no packages, no labels, just real food. Real food. Real you. Naturally.
I was able to reverse some of my health issues, regain my energy, my glow, and my confidence. I now have the energy to take care of my family and enjoy my life again!
My journey caring for others started young and I had always dreamed about being a doctor or a care provider in some way. I have always been drawn towards healing and first graduated with a degree from Western in Geriatrics. Upon graduation I decided to pursue recreation therapy and received a college diploma from Canadore College a year later. This combination led me into my role as a Recreation Manager in a long term care facility for almost a decade. While I was profoundly happy in this position, I was seeing the impact that quality food choices made on the senior population and felt drawn to become a professional in this area. On my second maternity leave I decided I would also become a Registered Holistic Nutritionist *just for fun*. I soon fell in LOVE with the profession and realized this was my true calling. Helping others overcome their “dis- ease” in their body and finally feeling like the energetic empowered being they deserve to be.
Holistic Nutrition
Holistic Nutrition is about looking at the whole person, whole foods, and what makes us whole- as humans. A Holistic Nutritionist is interested in the How, When, Where, Why, and with Whom, of each individual person we see. It is here that we find our beautiful science. Not simply hard science, but a beautiful weaving of hard science and social science. The blending of the two allows us to celebrate research outcomes that promote longevity, connectedness, culture, both ancient and new, the good and the bad of each, and of course we do look at food – whole food. Holistic Nutrition is a framework that is client centered, individualized, evidence-based, and leads to informed and well-educated choices for YOU and your current health challenges. As a Holistic Nutritionist I will empower you to make the best decisions for your body and your health and provide you with tools and education you need to navigate this exciting road of life. I assess your health and vitality in the natural context of your whole life experience. I will consider the importance not only of diet, but also physical, emotional, social, and environmental circumstances. I use nutrition, supplements, education, and lifestyle modifications in a non-invasive way to empower you towards self healing, increased health, and maximized vitality. I offer compassion, education, and guidance in a truly therapeutic partnership. I am forever honoured and grateful to help you on this healing journey.

The Healthy Hormone Mastery Program

The Healthy Hormone Mastery Program is a program designed with a women’s health in mind. It’s broken down into ten weeks based on how we have to support the body to stop the hormone imbalances from happening.
This program empowers a woman to take control over her symptoms and her body using nutrition, exercise, stress management, and education. When a woman takes care of herself, she takes care of everyone around her.
This program has so many benefits for a woman’s health. Each woman is looked at as a whole person rather than just isolating the specific symptoms being experienced. The focus is on every aspect of a woman’s body to properly nourish and re-balance it. This program has been built to ensure success and to ensure that results are seen at the end of the program. This program is designed with a woman’s health in mind and recognizes that each and every woman’s health is unique and involves the mental, spiritual, physical, emotional, and social aspects of health.
I’ve helped women overcome painful periods, infertility, PCOS, endometriosis, adrenal insufficiency, insomnia, low energy, bowel problems, weight problems, digestion problems, libido problems, spotting, PMS, headaches, acne, etc.
When a woman’s hormones are in sync, she’s a powerhouse, but when they are not, they wreak havoc on her body and her mind. You do not have to accept the hormonal hell of being tired, stressed, overweight, and never in the mood for sex. The program gives you an easy-to-follow plan to balance hormones and become lean, energetic, and love life again! Stop settling and reclaim your sexy!

Nutritional Consulting 1-1
This is where we look at each symptom to get to the root cause of your health challenges in order to revitalize your energy, health, and enthusiasm for life.
Nutritional consulting is offered to those who do not fit the niche of the Healthy Hormone Mastery Program or who have already completed the Healthy Hormone Mastery and want to continue further with their hormone health journey.
It is suggested that custom consultations involve ten sessions over ten weeks with unlimited email/text support throughout.
Over the course of ten weeks, we dive deep into each body system to empower you to learn why your symptoms are occurring. Each week you receive a customized meal plan to follow as the program is based on nutrition. It is your job to follow the guide and plan that you are given to ensure that results are seen by the end of the 10 weeks. Key vitamins and minerals based on your specific need will be recommended to you over the course of the program.
Weekly meetings occur via zoom or in person. At these meetings we discuss a new education topic, go over the meal plan for the next week, answer any questions you might have, and celebrate your weekly success!
$120/session (each session is 60 minutes)
Meal Planning Service
Take advantage of my meal planning service and revel in the convenience! Your individualized meal plan includes nutritional information for all recipes, tips on preparation, and complete shopping lists. Cooking your own food is the single best thing you can do for your health! My weekly meal planning services allow you to prepare tasty and nutritious meals in a snap. Each meal plan will be tailored to your specific health need.
$110 per customized 2 week meal plan (includes consultation)
