The Government has just announced that Grey Bruce can open under the Green Guidelines for Covid on Monday, March 1st.
A quick summary of what we need to do is:
-active screening for all staff and members (answering questions that you are symptom free and scan your membership card for tracing purposes)
-fitness class capacity of 25 based on social distancing requirements
-gym capacity max of 30 people based on social distancing requirements
-masks to be worn when moving around the building but not required while exercising
-maintain a distance of 3 metres from others
NOTE: Showers will be available to use BUT Saunas & Hot Tubs are CLOSED (per the Health Unit); Babysitting is not yet available due to distancing guidelines

we are a complete family fitness and event centre.
Lakeshore Recreation Centre was built in 1983 and is owned and operated by Gord and Ann MacKay. We are proud to have provided over 30 years of fitness and banquet facilities to Saugeen Shores and area.
Lakeshore offers a wide variety of group fitness classes for all ages and abilities. Our unique club is equipped with both Indoor Fitness and Outdoor Fitness recreational options. Our facilities include a weight room, cycle studio, 2 squash courts, 2 tennis courts and 8 pickleball courts that are all geared to your fitness needs. We have certified personal trainers available. Weddings, banquets, and parties are easy at Lakeshore. Go to our Events/Banquets page to see everything we have to offer in order to make your event a spectacular one. Our staff will assist in the planning and delivery of your event. Our 250 seat banquet hall is complete with its own entrance, bar and washrooms. Our kitchen staff are ready to prepare a wide variety of meals on site. We look after the bar, staffing, set-up and clean-up, so all you have to do is enjoy yourself.
