We're celebrating those members who are participating in our summer challenge. Congrats. And, it's not too late to participate. Pick up your punch card at the front desk and ask about "back tracking" and double your punches on Wednesday's and Sunday's.

Dance and celebrate! Looking for something fun to do on August 1st? The Fat Tony Band is back. Join us for a night on the dance floor as we show our appreciation to our members, guests and the community at large. Free admission! RSVP required and you can do that here.

Congratulations to Ali, who just earned her halfway prize in our 12 Punches to Win – Don't Break Your Streak Challenge!

Judging by that smile, we'd say the prize was worth it... but honestly, the real reward is showing up, staying active, and making your health a priority.


We're loving watching so many of our members absolutely crush this challenge! Every punch represents another workout completed, another healthy habit built, and another step toward feeling stronger.

Summer doesn't slow us down


While plenty of places quiet down in July, Lakeshore stays active all summer. Our members keep showing up — for a morning group fitness class, a session on the gym floor, a game of pickleball or squash, a Spin class to start the day.


Not because summer makes it easy, but because there's always a spot on the schedule and a community that's genuinely glad you came. And when the workout's done, there's the part nobody puts on a poster: a two-dollar coffee, a seat by the window, and a conversation with people who've become familiar faces.


That's the thing about staying active here. It was never really about willpower. It's about having a place that makes showing up easy — and enjoyable. This July, that energy has a name.


Train for the summer you love


The best part of summer happens outside these walls — on the golf course, the hiking trail, the bike path, the pickleball court, even out in the garden. And the stronger and steadier you are, the more you get to enjoy all of it.


That's what training at Lakeshore is really for: not the workout for its own sake, but the summer it makes possible. Train to play a sharper game of squash. Train to last the back nine. Train to hike farther, bike longer, and spend the whole afternoon in the garden without paying for it the next morning.

It's our July invitation to keep your momentum going when the season tries to pull you away from it. Every workout counts — group classes, the gym floor, Spin, a squash match, your own routine — and there are rewards along the way for the members who keep showing up, from guest passes and Pro Shop perks right up to a grand prize of three free months of membership plus locker rental.
